“You have embarked on a blessed ministry, dear friends. This community will never be the same.”
— Richard Mulder, August 23, 1963

This year we CELEBRATE fifty years of blessings that come from our ministry of caring for the seniors in our community.

This year we COMMEMORATE those individuals whose dream of a home for the aged and infirm came to fruition and has flourished to the glory of God.

This year we CULTIVATE the hope of a strong future and continued growth for generations to come.

Since September, 1963, hundreds of individuals in their golden years have found a blessing here at Bethany Home.  This, for most of them, has been a happy home where they have experienced support and care of the highest possible quality.  They have seen the love of God shine through the faces of staff and volunteers.  Bethany Home residents are regarded as image bearers of God, with human needs, challenges, hopes and dreams, deserving of security and compassionate care.

What makes Bethany Home different?  It isn't the buildings or the menus, but rather the basic conviction which motivates our staff.  Bethany Home, unlike other facilities, is not motivated by economic profit.  Nor is the staff motivated by financial gain.  The underlying motivation is a genuine attempt to heed the words of Christ, "Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." (Matt. 25:40b)
