"The Manor" consists of fifty-six one-bedroom apartments, all under one roof. Each unit has approximately 525 square feet of living space, with common areas that include a dining room, art and crafts room, fireside room, exercise room and laundry facilities. The Garden Apartments consist of seven separate buildings. These seven buildings contain a total of fourteen one-bedroom units and twenty-five two-bedroom units. Each apartment is equipped with a tub/shower combination unit, a stove, oven, hood, and garbage disposal. Tenants are responsible for the other appliances. Each apartment has its own individualized heating/cooling system, complete with thermostatic controls. Units vary in size from 520 to 920 square feet.

Garden Apartment residents have full access to the common areas in the Manor. A limited number of carports are available and are rented by the month. Adequate open parking is available but not reserved.

Bethany's Sunset Apartments consist of eight total buildings. Within those eight buildings there are 10 apartments set up with two bedrooms, single bathroom, and garage. There are another 26 apartments that have two bedrooms, a bath-and-a half, and a garage. All units are furnished with a stove, stackable washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, electric stove, ceiling fans, and garage door opener.

Each apartment has its own individualized heating/cooling system, complete with thermostatic controls. Units vary in size from 1,000 to 1,110 square feet.

Our newest apartments are located at the corner of Main and Roxie. Although still under construction, some of the initial cottage units are already finished. When completed, this seven acre campus will include 49 cottage units, 30 apartment-style units, a fitness center, exercise stations, gardening spaces, and a covered patio area.

The cottages offer spacious floor plans to choose from, ranging in size from 1,008 to 1,114 square feet. All units have two bedrooms, and either a bath-and-a-half or two full baths. Units have full kitchens with a stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave and disposal all included. Residents provide their own refrigerator. Cottage units also include a stackable washer/drier, attached garage with electric door opener, vaulted ceilings, and ceiling fans.

The apartment-style units will be available by the end of 2007. These units will range in size from 651 square feet to 1,015 square feet. Special amenities in this two-story building will be a chapel, formal sitting room, billiards room, library, social hall, and free laundry facilities.

The final phase of the Town Square Campus will be construction of the Senior Fitness Center which will include both an indoor swimming pool and an exercise area. The Fitness Center is yet one more tangible example of Bethany Home’s commitment to caring for the comprehensive needs of the senior population.


Services

Bethany provides the individual unit, together with the common space and all outdoor maintenance and yard care. Water, sewer, garbage, and TV hook-up are also included in the monthly rental payment. Activity rooms are available for resident use without charge.

Gas and electric utilities are the responsibility of each resident. Meals are offered three times a day for an additional fee. Other services available on the premise (on a fee basis) include visits with the podiatrist, hairdresser, and physical therapist.

  • Individual 62 years or older who are capable of handling all their own needs.
  • A staff evaluation/assessment or medical assessment/documents may be required to determine capability of independent living
  • A non-refundable holding deposit of $500 is required upon commitment of an apartment which will become the security deposit upon occupancy of the apartment.
  • Small pets are permitted by prior consent and requires a $500 pet deposit and signed policy agreement.
  • Rents are payable in advance on the first of each month.
  • Prepaid rent discount packages are available upon request with most units.

Fees & Availability

Brochures, packets with applications and fee schedules are available by contacting the Apartment Manager. Availability is determined by the waiting lists for all the apartments.
