The Beth Haven Dementia Unit, also known as Beth Haven II, consists of two 8-bed houses. Both houses are designed for persons who experience severe short-term memory loss, such as the Alzheimer's disease, but who are still fairly ambulatory and medically stable
Beth Haven II provides a safe familiar home setting that is comforting and supporting to people who have problems with memory and orientation. Residents have the opportunity to do familiar household tasks such as setting the table, washing dishes, folding clothes, and sweeping the floor. Security is provided through a perimeter property wall with locked gates.
Qualified, caring staff serve 24 hours-a-day, seven days a week, offering the best possible care to each individual. All staff members receive individualized dementia training. Care is provided without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin or handicaps. Beth Haven is licensed by the California Department of Social Services (license #390312809).
